On Friday evening 11/09/09, we held another Quiz Night at Alice Croft House.
The main charity to benefit from the proceeds will be Talking Books For The Deaf, a charity which Rotarian Fred Cox is involved in and the Club has supported from time to time.

About 50 people attended the evening trying to answer a variety of questions in several categories ranging from music, local knowledge, law & order, film & television.

The questions and the whole of the evening was arranged by Rotarians Fiona & David Tritton, and I am sure that all Club members would want to thank them for their find achievement.

Half way through the event a substantial “Ploughman's” type supper was provided, again organised by Fiona and Dave.

Wine, beer and soft drinks flowed throughout the evening and it was a good friendly and social atmosphere to raise in excess of £400.0 for charity.
