Rotarians from Eastbourne AM's community committee recently arranged an afternoon out at the theatre for some of the housebound elderly in Eastbourne. Tickets were kindly donated by local theatre company "The Rattonians" to the matinée performance of their Christmas celebration - an afternoon of popular show numbers and Christmas songs. St Andrew's school kindly lent us three of their minibuses, all driven by Rotarian volunteers, which allowed us to collect and drop off the ladies door to door. After the show, and just before the heavens opened, the guests were taken to the Lansdowne Hotel for a full cream tea before being taken home in time for Strictly !
