TWENTY-FOUR young people with a physical or learning disability had a holiday treat - courtesy of Eastbourne AM Rotary Club.

The club funded a three-day break for the members of SASBAH - the Sussex Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus -at Knowles Tooth centre in West Sussex.
There was a huge BBQ on the Saturday afternoon, and Sunday was spent at an activity centre.
Eastbourne AM President Hilary Lewis said, 'Service above self is the motto of Rotary, and this was certainly service at its very best for our members. 'Having raised the money required for the holiday, Rotarians then rolled up their sleeves to help the SASBAH staff and volunteers. 'They cooked, played games with the young people, and helped at the activity day. They were kept very busy all weekend.'
Rom Sanglaji, general manager of SASBAH, said, 'We are so grateful to Eastbourne AM for providing a much-needed break for our members, and at the same time providing respite for their families and carers.'
